I'm setting up a 135 gallon tank and plan on building a sump for it, I was thinking a 20 gallon long or is that to small? But I guess my question is what sump pumps would you recommend it has to overflows and two outputs predrilled into the tank.

20 gallon sounds a bit small. I have a 40 gallon(36x15x18) on my 120 gallon(4x2x2) and it barely does the job. Wish I could fit a 55 or 60 under there, but the supports on the back of the stand are not removable. For a 135, you should be able to fit a 55 or 60 gallon sump in the stand depending on how wide it is.
