Hi I'm about to build a sump for my 75g cichlid tank. I was wondering if anyone has heard of using o cedar non stick mesh scrubbers in there filter. They seem plastic looking

I believe that's what I stuck in one of the trays on my rena xp3, around .98 at Walmart.

They are plastic no cleaning agent's, fine to use.
