Sump Size

Im looking into setting up a sump for my tank. The tank is a 84 x 30 x 26" (L x W x H). It contains 2 rays and some P Bass.

What would you recomend as the minimum size tank to use as the sump ???

Is the sump the only thing you plan on using? Like do you have any canisters or hob's?

Ive currently got 2 canisters (FX5 and Aqua one) running and was hoping to replace these with a single sump to take care of the filtration.

Hmm, not totally sure the size of your tank (gallons) but i'd prolly say either a 55 or 75gal sump would do the job.. but it also has to do with how big your overflows are and pump size and media set up.... also, why not run the sump and the fx5? incase one goes out or something.. never know

I'd say atleast a 75 IMO. I have a 55 gallon sump on my 220 and i'm trying to find an old 75 to upgade my sump
