not sure how or i it would work but i will try it......
basically it would be sealed airtight so if the pump stopped working then the syphon would stop aswell.
as for the part in the tank (didn't do a pic for it) but would a single pipe in a corner through the base of the tank with slits cut into it with the top of the pipe being open causing a whirl pool effect removing rubbish from the surface of the water.
the pic is for my sump idea, with it being sealed and keeping the pressure constant would it work like a normal wet/dry ??
