My sump has been going for about 2 months now and every water change I make note of what I could've done better. Well now it's time to make the improvements. My question is, what's the best way to keep my biomedia viable while the sump is taken out from the tank to be worked on? Would putting it all in a large enough container with tank water and throwing in fish food every other day or so be enough to keep it going or do I need to put it in a surrogate sump (Rubbermaid container) for the day or two I need to get the sump "up to snuff"?
