Can anyone point me in the directions of a diy sumps for dummies link? or a book maybe ?

I read the stickies but even the diy's stickies are not step by step instructions ... anyone? would much rather get a sump going than buying multiple filters for my 180

This is an old post but I found myself looking for the same thing. I'm getting a large stock pond soon and putting the pieces I need little by little. Trying to figure out filtration. If anyone knows of a good read or some clear instructions for the mechanically challenged...please let me know...
