I just picked up a sun catfish, about 4 inches long right now, and have come to realize, he's a hider. problem is, I don't really have anything for him to hide in. he currently takes home in a waterfall statue thats in the tank, but he's almost too big for that. I've heard PVC pipe is good to put in the water for them to hide in, and am getting some tomorrow, but wanted to see there was anything special I need to do to the pipe prior to putting it in the tank. Might sound like an odd question, but I don't want to add it, and my fish drop dead, ya know?
