i have 2 sun cats and they dont seem to like bloodworms....i was wondering what else i could feed them i have had them for 2 days and they havent eaten anything
I'm guessing that these are your first cats...Catfish will go on hunger strikes more than any other fish when they are moved to a new tank... it's completly normal for them to take a few days to figure out if they feel comfortable and decide to eat... that said, 2 days is not that long... They will tear up those bloodworms once they are ready you could always try some shrimp pellets, or what ever they were eating at the store will sometimes spark them to eat... once it starts you'll be seeing an eating machine for it's size
awwww ok i seee thank you basslover and yes these are pretty much my first cats other than my lima but he ate right away and these sun cats are only an inch so i was kinda worried but thank you for clearing that up
I have same problem my friend. I put one of these fellows in my tank a month ago and so far I have only seen it once just the other day. Mine must be eating though because he seems to have grown nearly an inch in that 1 month.
I've got one and he's one of my favorite fish, they have very unique persoonalities. I feed him large live goldfish but if that isn't an option just drop some sinking pellets in front of their cave and it should work out.
