Hey all, just wondering if anyone on here ever used the sun sun canister filters before. I've read some reviews on it, but was wanted to know more about it. Any info will help thanks.

I have just ordered an aquatop canister that I believe it is the same just with a UV sterilizer in it.
I read some reviews of this filter and they encouraged me to buy it along to the price too, deffo looks like a very god price/performance relation, at least according to what I have been reading.
The only problem you may experience is this filters have problems while priming but it is not much of an issue actually you just fill half of the container with the same aquarium water previously you have it started and that's it.

I have a grech which is the same as the sun sun. I have the 304b with 9w uv and I love it! Very inexpensive and it works great! You do have to fill it mostly full of water before trying to prime it but who cares. I personally love this filter

thanks guys! i keep seeing this filter everywhere and wanted to get some input on it. haha but serious cant beat the price man
I have one as well and like it for the price. It primes easier than my fluval 405 but the motor is weaker. The media baskets are cheap plastic and will break if you try to force them in or out but the body is very sound. As long as you are careful with it it's a good filter and I would buy another one.

OK, at last I got my AquaTop CF 400 installed and I m pleased with what I got.
This is how it looks like.
The filter is pretty nice, it works super quietly and has a very good output flow, the best canister you can get for 99.00 bucks.

I have had the SUN SUN 302 for about a month now. And I am very pleased with it thus far. And for 49$, you can't beat it.
