I have about two dozen adult Minnows in my pond, and I added two adult Sunfish. Will the Minnows be ok, or will the Sunfish be too aggressive and probably kill them?

The thing is, the Minnows are really big, too big to fit in their mouths.

Fatheads, I bought them at a bait shop.

you'd be surprised. i had a 6in sunfish take a 4in lure. if there hungry enough, theyll take em, especially fatheads, there long and narrow and could fit easier in a fishes mouth than lets say a shad. if you want a large number of them to survive, feed them pellets or something like that

Thanks you guys, so basically just keep them well fed. I was more worried about territorial issues because the Minnows seem to school at the same spot the Sunfishes hide.

put in more hideing spots. the fatheads will use this as cover and a place to breed. make several from wood, plants, ect...
