Sunfish, bullhead - what kind of pellets?

As far as commercially available fish pellets go, is there anything I should look for with regards to a good staple diet for sunfish and/or bullheads?

Ive heard massivore is good for bullheads, thats what Im planning on feeding mine

Hakari cichlid gold has worked well for me over the years. I also feed live earthworms, meal worms, or beef heart in conjunction with the pellets. Worms are free.

Massivore works great! I'm sure they would eat pretty much any sinking pellets though.

While Massivore would be great for the bullhead alone, the cichlid gold would work for both the sunnies and cat. One food for both is cheaper and easier.

If I had to explain to my Mother in-law how to feed my fish with different foods when I went away, it would be horror when I got home. She knows to give x amount of pellets and that's it. Simple.

I feed my Green and Blue Cat Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets, along with mealworms and worms.

Another nod for massivoire!! Mine loves it, although not quite as much earthworms of which it goes beserk when they hit the water. A great fish, I have had mine for 4 years and it is an awesome aquarium fish
