What type of area did you find this guy? His proportions make him look kind of emaciated. Beautiful fish though - congrats.
i found him in a pond that got flooded out like 2 years ago and i have only caught little channel cats out of it until i caught this guy, he is pretty skinny, he was out in a pond with my long ears and he couldn't eat enough so i brought him inside to grow him out as much as possible
Definitely in the O-Spots range and if that pond flooded from a river of creek that runs to a river not out of the question that it got there that way, the O-Spot is known to inhabit the backwaters of lots of river systems in its known area.
