My son caught this guy a few weeks ago. I just added him to my tank after a long QT time. He's one of the prettiest sunfish I've seen from my area. Thanks guys

i appreciate the offer, just looking for a lake around here that has em fairly close right now. when i go visit home at charlotte i'll be able to catch pretty much whatever kind of sunnies i want

Pretty fish but I think its a hybrid of some sort. I have 2-3" Longears and some up to 6", the ear on this guy isnt long at all and looks totally different than mine. I caught a green sunfish today that had the green sunfish body but the colors of a longear.
