sunfish with lima

I doubt it. Limas don't get very big and their mouths aren't that big. The main issue is that most North American fish don't do well when kept in the upper 70's. I don't know much about limas, but if they can be kept at 74-76 degrees then I think it might work.
 
In all probability, the sunfish would torture the lima to death. Also, the temperature compatibility of both species aren't very good. You may have some sucess, but neither will really thrive.
