Looking to purchase healthy sunfish and bluegills. Preferably 5 inches and bigger. Located in the SGV.

You have to go to the local lake or river to catch them. It should be breeding season soon.

Just make sure you have a fishing license. The fine is very high if you don’t have a current fishing license(fund raising scheme by the government).

Just so y'all know, it's illegal in Cali to transport any live fish caught by any method, net or hook and line, with or without a fishing license! If you get caught, the fines and penalties can be catastrophic! There are vendors that sell native fish species online, some species are banned here but some like sunfish are probably legal to import into California but it's wise to investigate beforehand...
