I just picked this guy up from the LFS 2 days ago. From the stress on the way home he popped a little which was normal brown looking poop. I haven't seen him poop since putting him in the tank, but I am currently using PraziPro just in case he does have it. Is it possible he had it at a younger age and his belly just never filled back out? Wondering what you guys think. Any advice would be appreciated. Gonna continue one more dose of Prazi and hopefully it will be taken care of if he does have internal parasites. Time will tell I guess.

Ok little update. Ive been treating with prazi. His Belly is still sunken in. To me it looks unhealthy, but his poop has been normal the last couple days. Nice brown droppings and then yesterday came. I have given them some hikari bloodworms and it looked like hours later, that's what he was pooping. Stringy blood worms that weren't red. They had a tan/clear look to them. Anybody's input would be appreciated. I am wondering if he has worms or if its the blood worms he ate. All I know is that his belly does not look right.

I got a free 7" Texas cichlid that had a sunken belly and I treated him with salt, epsom salt and Tank Buddies Parasite Clear. About 2 weeks later hes looking a lot better.

If he eats and poops normal, he is just thin.

Lots of larger fish in pet stores are that way due to the fact that they don't get fed that often.

Ok sounds good. I just wanted make sure he wasn't sick. I know these guys are prone to it so I was making sure. I'm gonna keep an eye in him and I'll update in a week or so.
