My Aquariums are in a sunny room so I get allot of algie. Been trying to find a fish thats a good Algie eater that can live with Oscars? I do clean by hand but I swear it grows fast as heck....it gets tiring. I know Pleco's but it seems like they poop worse than Oscars?

Flagtail. Best there is and they eat algae that others won't touch. (hair algae)

i agree with the flagtail (only if you have a large enough tank)
yes plecos create allot of waist i would not recommend a pleco
here is my pleco

it doesn't eat anything and it doesn't poop!

I posted this same exact topic about a week ago and got blasted for my water parameters and how I should do more water changes, so in the spirit of MFK...here it is....YOU CLEARLY ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG AND SHOULD BE PUNISHED. YOUR ONLY ACTION SHOULD BE TO ATTEMPT TO BLOCK OUT THE SUN...ADDING BIOLOAD WON'T SOLVE ANYTHING.

I fully agree with you that blockin out the sun is the best way to go, but the OP wanted to know a fish he could get to eat the algae

That was all Walt asked a week ago. He got lectured a lot.

Isn't MFK very friendly? I saw that one. Felt like you posted about asking if you can put a whale shark in a 10 gallon tank. Some are still good advices, though.

Flagtail or BN plecos

To OP, I have not had a flagtail but this one is what I read from all over MFK. That is if you have large enough tank as the flagtail can grow to >16" give the right conditions.
