Sunshine pleco in 55

Just found that these seem to only get about 10 inches. Can I keep one in a 55? I'm not a new pleco keeper I just need to know their true maximum size. I have larger tanks but they are currently populated.

I wouldn't keep one in a foot print less than 4'x1.5'/48"x18"

Even as a grow out they needs lots of space and heavy filtration.

I have a few over 12" and I know of two that are close to 16"

The 55 could last to about 8" (2 years from 3"). I also have a couple over 12" and still growing.
