Quick update. They're doing really well and very fat. They're still in the 40b and about 6" now. They're shy so very hard to get pics when they're out. Sorry for the terrible lighting.

A couple of months ago, I found a L014 and I couldn't resist. It was about 2" when I got it. It's about 3.5" now and much fatter now. I'm growing out a batch of BN plecos in my QT so I had to put it in a 10g tank I'm using to test a dirted, capped tank. I moved it to my pleco tank (40g) to grow out.

Looking good! Glad to see they're doing well. I recently traded my big female L253 to a friend and decided I needed a new one. Found a couple of great looking and well priced L253s listed as L48 so had to grab one. All Scobis are terrific.

Hoping I can get this little dude to pack on some pounds faster than my previous ones. Scobis always seem to be slow growers for me.
It may have been addressed in previous threads but anyone shopping for Scobis and trying to sex them, it's quite easy to do at almost any size. Males will have more more squared off faces with distinct corners. Female's heads are more rounded and don't have such aggressive corners.IMG_3953.jpeg
