I have a 125 with 3 Aqueon 75s on them. I know HOBs sometimes get a bad rap, but I like the fact that the run independently, so if one has an issue, my whole tank is not screwed up...

I have been looking into getting the SunSun 304B since it is very powerful and a pretty low price (I found one for $71, good price?)

I keep SA cichlids and we all know the bio load! Would I see a benefit from the canister filter? Will the SunSun hold up? I would run 2 Aqueon 75s with the SunSun as well #OverFiltration

SunSun filters have been great for a lot of people on here, including me. They hold a lot of media and have a built in UV filter. Once full of media, their flow rate is reduced quite a bit but is still pretty good. I would definitely recommend one for your tank.

I have a 200 gallon running 3 sun sun canisters, I love them. Very quiet, efficient, and like you said, they run independently so you can work on/clean one with the others still running.

Anyone ever worry about the outtake tube disconnecting? I feel like the tubing is very cheap and can disconnect very easily. My new filter has been running for just under a week. My one complaint is the plastic tubing and trays. They seem very cheap, but it is a cheap filter!

I might go to Home Depot to pick up some replacement parts, at least for the out flow.
