Hi all,
I own a Sunsun tank, those acrylic tanks with stand and the built-in top filtration in the hood.
For those who know what I am talking about...
I have a dilemma.
My theory is, that when fish are of a "monster size" they can easily swim and knock into the filter powerhead and snap the plastic that it is clicked onto in the hood.
What do you guys think?
That's the only reason I am not running this filtration, but if I could find a work-a-round to this I would have set it up for the extra filtration.
Any comments on the matter?
From personal experience, the top-hood-filter is worth setting up, even though I have a canister running on my current tank.
But I just don't want to run the risk of having my fish swim into it and break the plastic as it is not something that can be easily replaced or fixed when I want to sell the tank or whatever.
