I have post about it in the past, and he getting even worse. He snaps at anything and jumps at things even when nothing is spooked him. The pair of large oscars(it use to be just the albino, now it's both) kept with him both have really deep scars from where the he bit them, and they're forced to hide in the corner and he attacks just about anything that's put into the tank(except for the really small parrotbloods and the pleco that had been kept with him since we got him a few months ago). The oscars were gotten just a month afterwards and they been really peaceful together up until a few months ago. The aro also bites anyone that sticks their hand in the tank and drew blood a couple of times. He's not even that big, about 12 inches. I really do not know what to do now.

My friend has 4 silver aros that r very aggressive.. They were all wild caught aros.. They all had thier own tanks.. 3 of them were 3'+... The smaller guy would jump more than 3' out of the water to bite ur finger...

You sure its a silver?

How big of a tank is it in? I can't imagine these things being so aggressive. Mine doesn't bother anything at all.

I am sorry you got such a mean fish. I have heard of some silvers being more aggressive than jardinis, but it seems really rare. I don't know what to tell you except you might want to consider rehoming the oscars or getting a new home for the aro.

Yes, it's a silver, it even had a slight case of droop eye in his left eye. I don't think it's a issue over territory, he just suddenly got all aggressive. He just ignored all the other fish before, and only ate one live fish in his entire life(and that was an accident on my part) and I don't think it's wild caught either. We might be considering selling the aro(if anyone would want a unpredictable silver).

Sure would like to see ya post pictures of these aros.

Yeah could the pics be action shots as well? Maybe dangle some fresh filets in the air and get them to jump!
