what are some good choices of smaller sized SA abd CA cihlids that breed like stink. Im lookign for soemthign that would be a neat project and also act as dither fish and treats for larger preditory fish for the offspring cuz face it they ahve to all go somewere. so far what comes to mind are convicts,kribs,jewls. thanks guys.

Carpintis breed like cons, and, they grow pretty fast, if you do it right. I do not overfeed my fish, but fry need many feedings a day, and very frequent water changes. When I breed something to replenish my stock, I do not rush the process as much. When I need feeders for a piscivorous cichlid, I do the rush method, with daily water changes, and five feedings or so, a day.
I got a pair of pink convict chichlids last week. Put em in a spare 55 gal, a day later the female had laid eggs. Whats more suprising is that the female is tiny im talking about 1 3/4". Im really suprised she spawned. I have like 20 or so eggs from her that are now wrigglers. I can personally vouch now that these fish are very prolific.
Cons are the best choice as mentioned above^^^^^ Nothing special needed just throw them in and let'em go at it
