I stopped by my lfs for the first time in over a month on a whim and just by luck the Congo shipment had arrived a day or two ago. I saw a tank with some 1.5-2" cylindrical fish hanging around the bottom and upon closer inspection they were Phractolaemus ansorgii!! This is the first time I've ever seen them for sale around here so you better believe I was leaving with some. I ended up nabbing 15

They're in a temporary holding tank with just a heater, filter and some boiled dried leaves as substrate/decor. Now it's time to get started on an African biotope paludarium
