Super fast fish?

What is a species of super fast fish that is fairly cheap? I want something for my gulper to play with but not be able to catch at least for a while. I think I was told giant danios and certain tetras?

edit: anything that schools preferrebly?

Try a few smaller tinfoil barbs. They're on speed, and they will grow at a quick enough rate so as to not become dinner to your gulper cat.
