Super Festae Crazy Obsession!!!! Please HELP

Heys MFK Friends,

I am have a real serious festae obsession issues lately. I am totally addicted to them. LOL. I seem to find my days and night searching for the best quality festae's. Should I get help:naughty:? I am preparing a small project of Ecuadorian Festae. I am so excited to have meet freshwater predators (jason) and Darren on this forum and they are hooking me up. ":)Holly guacamole" it aint cheap but who cares I love having the best.

Does anyone else have this problem if so let me know? LOL

If you are obsessed with Festae you certainly picked the right two members to talk to. Jason and Darren are both Festae Fanatics and proud of it. You'll also be getting some very nice Festae from them. They both take a lot of time and pride keeping and breeding Festae. Festae are some very beautiful cichlids so I can understand the desire to keep them. Good luck with your newcomers.
 
Lol, I too have a crazy obsession with festae;) imo its not a bad obsession to have:) I'm glad you finally found what you're lookin for and I wish you the best in your future project, and I'm also looking forward to seeing all those new updates:)
 
What are you guys talking about? There is no such thing as one having an obsession with festae. I've never heard of such a thing!:confused: If ever I hear or see of another person claiming to have this same obsession, I will be sure to let you all know.:lol2:

Haha yeah I have the bug a bit but I'm working with 2 males and 2 females. I'm not actively trying to spawn them I just enjoy watching them. I am obsessed with the excichlasoma istlantum, festae, ornatum, atromaculatum. I also have a parachromis bug lol!

I too am a festaholic, and having continuously searched, have had little luck, only finding one 4 incher that I still am not sure whether it is a male or female (I don't care which). I buy a lot of my
fish from Jeff Rapps and he has not had them in a while......any info from the fanatics...pictures, reading sources of fish would be welcomed
 
If you check the media lounge you will see a thread by roadrunner posting pics of all his festae. He would be the go to.guy for festae that size and he's good at sexing them too. I'm all out of fry and growouts myself, otherwise I would offer too:). But he's the man!!

Yes try RoadRunner. I know first hand that he has a great selection of QUALITY Festae as well as freshwaterpredator.
