Might have a little trouble with the fry if you have that Aqueon55 HOB filter running with out a sponge on the inlet. I did the same thing when breeding Mollies... once.

I going to raise by myself when they laid egg I going to take the plate out not leave in there any just wait when the female tube drop right time then I will turn the filter off and the take the egg out...........
