Hi there. Is it too early to sex my flowerhorn ? Looks like slight black mark on dorsal fin starting to appear was thinking female ?

I would guess female based on body and fin shape. Black on dorsal is a good way to tell, though I don't see much black here. It may get darker as time goes on and fish gets larger.
Not sure about flowehorns or cichlids as I dont keep any. Sorry!
Was hoping someone on here could help me determine what kind of Flowerhorn I have and what it’s sex is. Have had it for a month and it’s doubled in size and started to gain more color.
Since FHs are a combination of trimaculatus and something else, you may want to compare to pure trimacs.

Some flowerhorn said are pure white, can just be coloration, if he's eating well I wouldn't worry to much.
