hey guys. i recently saw a picture on this site of a pair of oscars that were so red that they looked dyed, and i loved them. i am just wondering a few things about them though:
1. where and how can i get a hold of one?
2. how much do they cost?
3. what are they really known as in the pet trade (common name)?

thanks in advance

He is located in the Philipines. Even there he said they were quiet 'rare'. I highly doubt you could buy them localy in Canada.

:iagree: i also liked them but my dad was certain they were died heres the pics is stole of them:)

Beautiful coloring on those Oscars. But they look dyed to me.

thats what i thought but the bloke who has them insisted they were NOT died

i've gone to a fs in sinapore, and i saw baby oscars not even 1in in length that were red like the ones in the pic, so i say they just have a natural red. red albino?

Well if that is a new color strand then I can't wait until they become more readily available. I'll own one (or two) in a heartbeat.

C'mon breeders, do your thing. :)
