is this a natural color or are they dyed. i've never seen any until i went to an Asian fish store and they had about 10 in a tank with some red parrots, and they were incredibly red. i wouldn't have thought they were dyed except they do have some dyed parrots at this fish store too. they were $50 and about 6".

Yeah not sure if they are dyeed or not the ones i've seen were not but the red heads are stunning.
An LFS by me brought in some nice red colored GS's, they looked great.
After a month went by some of the original stock lost some of the intense red. Mind you that they still had a lot of red freckles and streaks, however they dont look that much different now then a regular GS, it leads me to believe they might have been hormonally influenced by the supplier..

That may be a "normal turquoise", but the coloring is anything but!! I'd kill for a sev with coloring like that!Onion01;1352850; said:
Rottkeils are also good-looking (and you're more likely to get one that is actually colored like the pics you see).
