I was thinking of making a refugium with a really cool DIY yourself I found online, http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=601201. I have the Aquaclear 20, would it make a too small refugium for my nano-reef??

I dont think something this small would even be worthwhile. I doubt the significance of the 110/500's are even all that great.
the ac110 holds something like 4L of media, making it comparable to a good sized canister. taking that into consideration, there is definitely enough space to make it a worth while refugum
