Imported some rays in March. Beautiful pieces. Unfortunately the male didnt do well after shipping and passed. Anyone have experience with sw x god? I was told there sw crossed with god. Hopefully these 2 females age well. I wasn't able to see the parents. Ill definitely need to import a nice male in the near future to breed with them.

No help, unfortunately on my own. Alot of money to lose. Im definitely worried to do it again.

Bummer they won’t help you mate. Definitely wouldn’t use them again in that case.
Seems the transhipper missed the male wasn’t well in the bag upon entry to Canada.
Did you mention the transhipper was supposed to water change, health check & recharge O2, then re-tie bag and forward on to you?
I guess nothing you can do to prove fault, though it for certain wasn’t your fualt.

I just got a pair of SW x Male God myself. They’re definitely a big thing and have great potential as a new higher end type of ray that’s better than SWC. Yours are beautiful! I’m terribly sorry to hear about the issues with your male though . Are you going to get another male in? It would be awesome to see these bred in the states

Awesome! Id love to see them. There definitely beautiful rays. Im curious to see how they age. There right around 10" now. Im definitely gonna get another male hopefully sooner then later as breeding them was my plan. I have a bd hybrid male but doubt it will be anything special if I breed him with the swxgod.

Let me try to post them in the comments here, mine are only about 6.5”-7”. That’s awesome you plan to get another male in! I hope to see update pics every so often of your group! Tbh even if you breed your bd hybrid with them, they’ll still be something more special than typical bd hybrids, but I wouldn’t want to put a female through the stress of a pregnancy either I’d do what you’re doing and eventually get a male for them. Thank you! Yours are real nice too! I got this pair for a little bit of a discount because the first one came DOA but in the end I ended up spending $2,200 for the pair and plan to import myself for even cheaper when I finish getting my import license. But I’ve heard Canada is more expensive, I don’t know the going rates up there, I’m in the U.S. in New Jersey. I’ll post update pics as they grow and I hope you do too! It would be awesome to see how they grow and mature patterns develop from multiple different ones
