Superspot had 3 premature pups...

looks like they r premature... they r very small, about 2 to 3 inches. very healthy lookin!! but alot smaller then her first litter...

my armatus was eyeing them like a snack:irked:

im wondering why she had 3 early?? i can tell she still has at least 2 inside her because shes still pretty fat...

will she hold the rest for a few weeks til they r mature? any one have experience w this?

ill get pics of the pups up in a min...

that's pretty sweet! i didn't know there are premature births in the fish world!
 
well lets hope they make it, how early are they? they look fully developed, i have heard of females giving birth then two weeks later releases more pups....

maybe im trippin because they just look rely small compared to all the adults.

they look about 2 weeks early...
 
how many pups did you have last time, 2-3" is still small but i think they should be fine. Hystrix and scobina pups are always around 2-3" and they make it
 
2nd litter isn't she like 1 1/2 years old ?
i think one of Brents leo's had pups then a few days later had a couple more ?
