I saw a product at the Lfs that you add to the aquarium water to give your fish more electrolytes. Is this a good idea? would fish benifit from this? I know we need electrolytes to regulate the sodium and potassium in our body but would fresh water fish need this?
Suplemented Electrolytes?

It probably was Aquarium Salt. Aquarium Salt is suppose to aid in osmosis in fish.. which perhaps adds more electrolytes? I believe NovAqua also claims to do the same. I do not know much on specifics about this.
