Is there any way to remove a skunks smell from a dog and my house? skunk got in the fence and sprayed the dog and the window was open... Google didn't help at all... Hope one of you can

I think I tried literally everything atleast on google lol... I just read something about crest tooth paste and I'm about to try that
Try this to get the skunk smell from your dog, get some hydrogen peroxide, about half a gallon. One ounce of liquid laundry detergent for dedicates and half a gallon of distilled water. You mix the three ingredients together in a bucket and use this solution to wash your dog. You will have enough for a medium size dog. Just make sure you let the solution penetrate the coat to the skin, there will be lots of bubbling but don't worry it won't hurt your dog. Be careful around the eyes and ears.

try baking dawn and peroxide sorry I don't remember the ratio worked pretty good. My mom says do it dry. Put it on them let it soak and then rinse.

I'd do this after a scrub with tomato juice/paste.
it'll help, but you'll get used to it before it's gone.
I've had good luck with dawn, the spray from the skunk is oily so the dawn breaks it up so it doesn't stick to the fur as much.
Dawn and some petsmart skunk shampoo cleaned the dog up to where it's tolerable thanx for all the help either the smell is leaving our I'm getting used to it
