I have a 45 gallon bow front fish tank with medium size s.a cichlids and 1 Pictus catfish being the largest fish. What are any good size surface dwellers that aren't too small or too large?
I'd sat african butterfly fish. They're a cool laid back interesting fish that will mainly lay in wait until there's food to be eaten at which point you'll be able to see his trapdoor style mouth in action.
