so i just went to look at my community tank, and i notice two tiny snails zipping around on the glass! i do not know how or when they got in there. i've never had snails in that tank, and i rinse out my nets before and after using them in either tank. i did add a few small snails to my larger tank weeks ago for my puffers to eat, but they seemed to gobble them all up as soon as i put them in there. i've never added anything wild into my tank. the most recent thing i put in there were some small cleaner shrimp a couple of weeks ago, but i quarantined them first, and none of the water they came in went into the tank. so these guys could have been in here for who knows how long, but i just noticed them now by accident. :]
i'm not really looking for answers as to how they got in there; the only reason i put all that stuff is because i figure people will ask anyway. i'm just excited to see the cute little guys. maybe they'll start producing more soon for me to throw in for my puffers, then i won't have to worry about finding some at an lfs or about quarantining them :]
