Surprised By My Senegal's Favorite Food

I was surprised that my senegal's love Tetramin variety wafers so much! I toss them in(along with various flake foods) all crumbled up for the feeder fish to eat. That way the bichirs get their veggies and such through eating the feeder gups.

On the other hand oddly enough, they want nothing to do with Sally's San Fransico Bay's brand frozen beefheart.

They like the San Fransico frozen brine shrimp and just love the Hikari blood worms though.

Mine takes algae wafers, however the top ingredient in those "algae" wafers is fish meal.

i fed mine strictly pellets... they would eat any shrimp or smelts/silversides the rays didnt get..

And mine eat spirulina algae wafers, but discard bass fillet...

mine eat hikari bloodworms, canivore pellets, and beefheart without any problems.. they never did like shrimp pellets
