i was just chillin and casting in a little pond that is a little past your knees at a local golf course and caught this guy, i was not expecting him to say the least

wow.. you can fish at the golf course. I don't dare to fish in there.

3. Even if I bought tee time, it would be werid to bring in fishing gear instead of golfing gear.
But I always thought there are tons of fish in golf ponds.

Yea I grew up alongside a golf course and we always fished in it until the pro or greenskeeper ran us off...then we'd come back. Caught big bass too...large ponds that aren't often fished tend to lead to nice big bass.
in a pond next the green on a golf corse in forest lake i have cought 1and a half pound sunfish, 5 pound large mouth, and a 10 pound northern just to name a few...the fertilizer boosts the system and gets some large fish, but i wouldn't eat any...
