Well let me tell you a story....... About 4 or 5 months ago I purchased a Midas the one seen on my avatar. This guy was a brute but none the less good fish, so I drop him in my heavy stock 180g and with in a week he mated. Most of the fish where stuck to one side of the tank I didn't like that so I pulled the Red Devil out along with the Midas and moved them into the 125gal. Well I didn't care much for the fry that they laid so the rest of the fish had desert. Well I end up selling off the Midas and putting back the Red Devi where she belong and everything was back to normal. Yesterday 6-11-10 I clean my FX5 and when emptying the drain plug I noticed something flip flopping in the mud and water Incredibly I pulled 3 big babies out and put them in to a bucket. Well Went back to cleaning and notice what I thought to be another one flip flopping 5 min later. Yep another one this guy is small and wasn't expecting him to make. Well these guys are in good health and eating great and hoping they make it so I can actually bread them and do it all over again !

Yup, I've found a bunch of convict fry in my fluval 304. They must find pockets with less flow and chill in there. I even found a full grown guppy in it once.

wow thats awesome I can't wait till they get big!

what?! that's awesome! Fx5s aren't exactly a 'low flow' filter. They must be loving life now that they're out of that hell! lol

Yes doing well and getting big by the moment!
