I live in the desert and think i could survive pretty well. I watch survival shows. I know just because you watch some survival shows doesn't necessarily mean you could survive, but i have tested many of the methods. I can set figure 4 deadfall traps, snares, and other traps. I can make a fire with a bow drill and I usually carry a lighter or matches. I have built strong desert shelter before, etc. So if i ever get lost in the desert i think i would be fine 
And im into bushcraft so that helps a lot lol.
