suspect hybrid

forgive me ifd this is a common central american ect, as i have been keeping africans for the last 15-20 years , i bought it from lfs who had no clue other than a cichlid ,i bought it because i thought i could see some potential in it for when it grows after studying it i thought i could see a lot of jag in it , and poss some texas or dempsy ,anyway anyone ever come accross anything that looks like this ? if it is a regular cichlid please post pics of what it should look like when mature (p.s its approx 3" long at moment

Wrong on many levels


It is a Parachromis loisellei, you can tell by the linear pattern and blotches on the face and gill plate.

Not a friedrichsthalii, they have vertical bands.

Def not a Dovii, wrong profile, color, pattern, etc

There is a chance it is a hybrid Loisellei/friedrichsthalii, but I doubt it. From the looks of the pictures it has severe HITH, and it looks like the linear line is erroding. GL
