I previously posted about the possibility of ich or internal parasites for my bichir tank (saw two bichirs flashing around gill area) and decided to treat for ich. I followed thr increased temp with salt regimen. Now im starting to think its internal parasites, since the juvy ornate is still flashing (gill flukes) and is the thinnest of my bichirs. Hasnt gained much heft since being acquired.

My question is:
Will parasite guard take care of gill flukes?
Can i safely dose the tank with parasite guard while my tank has 2 teaspoons per gallon of salt?
Can i move the ornate to a smaller tank or do i have to dose the entire tank?

Use jungle buddies, pretty good for external parasites. Your case is probably bichir worm, jungle buddies clears it up nice, general cure from API also works. Copper does not work. (this is all from my personal experience:)
