Hey all,

Trying to find out the best way to suspend driftwood in a tank with a lid.

I'd appreciate any tips and photos you can share. I would love to get at least one of my pieces off of the substrate.

Thanks.

Good question there. I've thought about what the best way would be too.

Hopefully we'll get some helpful info. :)

And I have to say that I must keep the lid as I have bichirs & rope fish. It's literally duct taped in the back to cover all open spots.

I was asking on here that how to fix a drain pipe in place so my turtle wont be able to move it out of place. Few people recommended this to me and I noticed that it have rings so why not tie ur driftwood with fishing lines. Than attach the suction cup on ur lid. Use the fishing line raise or lower ur driftwood at the height of ur prefference. Brought it from harbor frieghts... hope this helps.

That's an interesting idea. Do you feel like you could trust that thing with the Driftwood to not crash down on any fish at some point?

This one is only half water logged, so the one end is touching. The lid holds the rest of it.
I had 15 pounds of lead on it for a while. Since given up on submerging it. Low maintenance this way, and the fish like it.
