Hi guys, my 4 inch albino bichir is always floating on the top of my tank. i know that people say People that juvinile bichirs always float on the tank as in normal but for my bichir, it doesn't seem so normal. It all started at around a month ago when my now deceased (other) albino bichir was floating on the surface of the tank like if jhe have swim bladder problems. I suspected that it was intestinal worms (he had them when it it happened)in my now deseased (other) bichirs stomach. The strange thing was, my other albino bichir (thats still alive now) was always copying my "sick" bichir. is this floating to the surface symtom contagious? I have a very special delhzi bichir that i waited for 5 months, and I don't want him to float to the surface. my bichir floats to the surface for like 12 hours a day and swims to the bottom once every half an hour. i've had my albino for 5 months and he's never floated to the surface until last month. on the surface, his bodyt very move (xcept for fins) slightly sometimes. don't think he has worms. he does have a weird slight bulge in part of his stomach. is this normal??? It would be awesome if everyone that is viewing this thread would post any of their opinions here!!

thanks.
