sveni life span

hi,ive owned my 5-6 inch sveni for approx 3 weeks and was wondering how long i could expect it to live????how old would it be at 5-6 inches????how old are any of your sveni pike cichlids????

Couple years at least, if you keep it healthy and all. I kept my sveni for a year and a half no problem before i gave it to the LFS to make room.... They are fairly long lived, not sure though. When you find out, let us know....haha.

5-6" might be about 1 - 2 yrs. I've had mine for a few months now (about 6). started at about 2" and is now 4-5". havent seen em in a few weeks but last I saw looked like the growth had slowed.

being they go about 8-10, full grown should be 2-3 yo.
