Update for everyone :) He does not grow fast, but he is like a missile in a tank! He stood up to my XinguI who dismissed four other pikes, for 2 months. He was doing just fine, but had been reduced to hiding in a piece of floating PVC, and keeping watch for the xingu...He actually developed a strategy of his own:naughty: got sick of being sneak attacked all day. The Xingu would be minding his bizz, and out of the PVC BLAMMO lol he would go right back and the Xingu would never see him. I like my sveni, so I put him in a tank right by my desk :) He is with a pleco and a blue acara. He has no aggression toward non pikes.

I am still getting my feet wet with these guys :) and having a blast....Like you said caution allows them to be kept with friends....I am no where near done yet ;) I have moved a ton in my life....I have been in the house I'm in for four years now, with no plans to move anytime soon.....I can now get back to that next level where I belong. Also I ONLY buy baby fish.....:D Takes time that way, and by the time I'm ready for the next one, something else is cool anyhow....All that being said...I want a XinguIII some day:drool:
