So my female has finally accepted the male after an all out war that's lasted a week or so. Its been brutal but they have a cave heavily defended and all other fish including phase are on the opposite side of the tank, too afraid to get to close. I'm so happy and wanted to share, of I can a good enough view of the eggs I'll take photos

No actually, I'm familiar with cichlid pre spawn fighting but it was getting to brutal so I took the female and moved her temporarily into my istlanum tank. Its sucks cause they were just getting cozy in a strawberry pot and I thought for sure I'd have a spawn. I did a big water change and all he'll broke loose.
