Sveni with Diamond Tetras

Hello, has anyone had any experience keeping geophagus sveni successfully with diamond tetras? I feel they're pretty tall bodied but would probably fit in the geos mouth. I have 7 adult sveni with 5 rummynose and 5 angels in my 96x30x24, 300 gallon. My LFS has diamond tetras on sale and I've always appreciated their look. I just wouldn't want them to be lunch for the sveni. Thanks in advance.

That should be fine. There’s always a maybe but I’ve had several schools of sveni over the years and I never had an issue with keeping dithers like diamond tetras. I’d probably be more worried about your rummynose if anything

Cool. Thanks. Yep, I figured they're pretty deep bodied. I ended up putting the shoal of rummynose on my other community tank but I think I'm going to go for the diamond tetras. I may try to do 30 or so.

I've seen quite a few do it with no problems, same with other, taller bodied tetras as long as they're not fin nippy.
