Sw, Moms tang is wacked

My moms tang is acting very weird.

Rapid breathing, swimming in circles, running into glass boat etc... Has 2 red spots on one side of him that looke like soars the other side has 1. Very skiny. and his mouth stays open.

He used to be very shy and would never come out, now hes all about and is acting like hes on drugs and you can actully hold him in your hand and he wont freak out..

I can be of some help to you bro. That tang is $hit now. There is no way to get it out of that stage. You need to evaluate if you wan to keep it or trash it. Holding it in your hand will not help matters either. It looks like a chemical burned the $hit out of it. Ya that tang is done son. It is up to you or your mom to trash it.

We dident hold it, We were washing the inside and he wouldent move so i tried to push him away with my hand so i could clean a cave and he actully wouldent move and my hand was next to him. my mom did some searching and just found out that its being poisioned by something, Probably windex got into the tank some how. We did a 50% w/c and added some stress coat.

Actually I recoginzed this right away, this is lateral line errosion. This is due to poor water quality. But ya its pretty much a gonner now.

there is no way the water is bad, I tested it myself and they do 50% w/c every 2 weeks.
My parents refuse to give up on him so i'm gona let them deal with their fish. thanks guys.

Tangs like that can linger and liv for a long time in that stage. I had a tang like that for a while it eventually croaked after about 6 months.
